EASD Contributes to Agricultural Lending Research

The Evangelical Association for Sustainable Development (EASD) participated in research initiatives on agricultural lending, conducted through GEBAL – Abdul Latif Jameel Lab, as part of efforts to develop financing models that better support smallholder farmers and strengthen the sustainability of agricultural enterprises.

The Association contributed its field-based expertise through the implementation of the #HalawetArdina Program, which aims to economically empower small-scale farmers by supporting small agricultural enterprises.

The program focuses on a range of productive activities within the agricultural sector, including livestock fattening, poultry raising, and environmentally sustainable green agricultural projects, all of which contribute to improving livelihoods in rural communities.

This collaboration highlights the value of integrating academic research with practical development experience in designing more effective agricultural finance programs tailored to the needs of smallholder farmers.
