Eng. Mervat Kamel, Executive Director of the Evangelical Association for Sustainable Development (EASD), participated in a meeting with the Ambassador of the Anti-Human Trafficking Fund, following an invitation from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA).

The meeting brought together representatives of civil society organizations to discuss the role of NGOs in supporting victims of human trafficking, with a focus on providing economic and social assistance that can help survivors rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society.

Participants also exchanged perspectives on strengthening collaboration between government institutions and civil society organizations to enhance national efforts to combat human trafficking and expand support services for affected individuals.

EASD’s participation reflects its continued commitment to supporting vulnerable groups and contributing to initiatives that promote social protection and inclusive development.
