The Evangelical Association for Sustainable Development in Minya (EASD) proudly participated in the closing ceremony of the “Enhancing Competitiveness Among Companies Through Service Providers” project, funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and MSME Egypt – Development Agency for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, serving as a key service provider supporting local companies.

EASD received a Certificate of Appreciation for its active contribution in assisting food manufacturing companies through the Arous Al-Saeed Training and Business Development Center, providing expertise in digital marketing and implementing the Kaizen methodology to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

The evaluation session included JICA experts, MSME Egypt officials, and food safety authorities, who commended the association’s role in enhancing companies’ competitiveness and applying best production practices. The association’s implementation of the S5 system in the Dayra Beidena workshop was also highlighted as a model of excellence.
